==========STORY==========


Amjad (Akshay Kumar), a rickshaw driver searching for his long-lost brother Munna, and wrestler Avinash (Tusshar Kapoor), who aspires to become a star in the Bollywood industry. Amjad wants to marry his lover Heena (Esha Deol). But her parents want her to marry a rich man. So Amjad plans to gain his parents' trust through a fake drama in which Avinash and his friend appear as fake henchmen and involve Rathod to arrest and win Heena's heart. The plan goes awry when real thugs show up but Amjad fights them in and Heena's parents agree to marry her to Amjad.Meanwhile, Inspector Ajit Rathod (Ajay Devgn) is on a mission to eliminate notorious terrorist Azhar Khan (Rahul Dev), who killed his wife (Koena Mitra). The latter is under the eyes of the law and plans to destroy Mumbai. Avinash, on the other hand, a fighter, loses his job as an extra in films after a fight with a selfish actor. Avinash helps a newcomer Indu (Laila) break into the industry and they soon fall in love, unaware that she was the subject of an engagement to producer Agarwal. Desperate, Avinash decides to become an auto rickshaw driver, but Indu apologizes and encourages Avinash to be a good actor. Avinash and Indu's fortunes soon change when the filmmaker (Asrani) casts them in the lead roles in his next film after being impressed with her acting skills.Meghna, a news reporter (Lara Dutta), develops a crush on Rathod, but Rathod is still traumatized and angry at his wife's death.




Azhar returns home from exile but seeks the same reason for destruction: planning a bomb blast on a train carrying passengers. He kills Rathod's friend Inspector Deepak and is free. Rathod learns that Azhar is none other than Amjad's younger brother, Munna, and arrests Amjad. Azhar calls Rathod at Bandra Terminus, where he is holding the passengers hostage, with a deal to release his second-in-command Masood (Ashok Samarth) and Amjad, and demands a helicopter to escape to Pakistan.Rathod follows the plan and arrives at the train station, where the horrified Amjad learns that his brother is a terrorist. Amjad begs Azhar to leave the innocent people, but Azhar denies this, calling his actions jihad. A fight ensues during the explosion at the station, resulting in Rathod and Amjad killing Azhar's men. Just as Azhar and Masood attempt to attack Rathod and Amjad, they are both shot down. Rathod offers his condolences to Amjad, who refuses, instead disowning Azhar and declaring that anyone who kills innocent people in the name of religion should be shot.In the end, Rathod, Amjad, and Avinash return along with the ambushed hostages.
